Climatic version U category 3 in accordance with GOST 15150-69, for operation at ambient temperatures from minus 400C to plus 400C.
Design
The battery is a block of electrodes, consisting of positive and negative lamella electrodes, separated from each other by a plastic frame separator. The block of electrodes is placed in a metal (KL-70P-U3 – in a plastic) rectangular tank and insulated from it with vinyl plastic spacers. The battery cover is welded to the tank around the perimeter. On the walls of the tank there are ribs (except for KL-70P-U3) in the form of corrugations, which increase the rigidity of the battery tank. On the end walls of the tank there are two trunnions (except for KL-70P-U3), with the help of which the batteries are fixed in the battery frame through insulating bushings.
KL125 batteries are manufactured in metal (both with pins and rubber covers) or in plastic tanks.
The down conductor is carried out with the help of bores, which are brought to the battery cover.
As an electrolyte in batteries, a solution of caustic potassium with a density of 1.19-1.21 g / cm3 with the addition of (20 + 1) g / l of lithium hydroxide is used. The accumulators are equipped with a plug with a sleeve. The plug sleeve is triggered at an overpressure inside the accumulator from 0.005 to 0.05 MPa (from 0.05 to 0.5 kgf / cm2).
When the battery is tilted at an angle of 45 ° from the normal position (leads up), the electrolyte does not pour out or splash during operation.
Accumulator batteries consist of four, five or nine (9KL-70P-U3) accumulators connected in series in an electric circuit using steel nickel-plated jumpers. The batteries are supplied in metal frames.
Accumulators (batteries) are efficient at ambient temperatures from minus 40 to plus 40C.
Batteries are supplied to the consumer shaped, without electrolyte, in a discharged state (for 9KL-70P-U3 batteries, it is possible to supply filled and charged versions).
The operating time of the batteries is at least 1000 cycles (with a capacity of at least 0.6C5 A.h.).
The capacity of batteries after 28 days of storage in a charged state under normal climatic conditions of the environment is not less than 0.5C5 A.h.
Capacity of batteries charged at constant voltage:
– at 25 ° C with voltage (1.59-1.61) V – not less than 0.7C5Ah .;
– at 0 ° C with voltage (1.65-1.67) V – not less than 0.5C5Ah;
– at minus (18 ± 2) ° C with voltage (1.73-1.76) V – not less than 0.4C5Ah.
Capacity of batteries discharged at low ambient temperature:
– at minus (18 ± 2) ° C – not less than 0.5C5Ah;
– at minus (40 ± 2) ° C – not less than 0.2C5A × h.
Rechargeable batteries and batteries are resistant to ambient relative humidity of 98% at 25 ° C, vibration loads and single shocks.
